I decide to take a break from chasing another dollar with LYFT, by joining a girlfriend for a manicure /pedicure, which usually ends in a food/drink situation. Much needed break from thoughts of money, let me go and spend some on myself; on my stomach rather lol, SHIT! Sorry, Aidan I love you this foodie/drink experience was without the kid.
No outbursts to try to handle with kiddie care, since we are in public. No time spent making sure he doesn’t gobble everything down too fast only to clean up everything he just took down, before our waiter/waitress returns for her first check in with us..Glad I chose this booth.
Anyway i digress… So… Of course where are we going from here?
No HOLDS BARRED! SAKE BOMBS!!! SAKE!!!
First let me tell you I Yelp every place I think of eating. The reviews are usually spot on, thank you Russel Simmons and Jeremy Stoppelman (Yelp Creators). I love the heads up!
The reviews seemed promising, so I made the decision “Ebaes”. We are immediately seated. Mark is our server, cute! We immediately order our SAKE BOMBS! He returns and we order our first bites. Upon reviewing the menu I notice tapas! LOVE TAPAS! It’s an Asian Tapas restaurant! Delight! Food to be shared, thee best concept!
So we start with the mini rolls, “Yellow
Tail” and the “Korean Bar B Que”, yes I said it Korean BBQ in a sushi roll. Out of this world amazing! As we wait, BOMBS continue. Rolls came out quickly, but maybe too quickly couple of my rolls were broken on the Korean BBQ though. The space was great, decor awesome, felt transcended even. Felt like i was somewhere else, a place i decided after ordering our drinks I will be returning with the little guy. Totally kid friendly, a family with young kids were present to see that. I never know what that means until I see a family actually looking friendly.
Last order add was the Popcorn Shrimp Roll. A great ending to this foodie adventure let me tell you! The sauces that topped the Popcorn Shrimp that sat atop the roll was a beautiful work of art, an enticing plate just to the eye. When this thing touched my palate, MY GOD! ORGASMIC! I’ll end it here. A real treat i will give it

Broken sushi is the reason for my rating. Other than that great treat.
